Being a long time SYR fan from the 0.20c days, I looked through my trades and the highs and the lows are instructive
bought at 0.20, and sold on `the way up including at $2.05 for your classic Disallowed.
however, caught the dreaded ‘falling knife’,buying at $1.20, averaging down, to eventually take the losses (for tax reasonsin the 0.60s.
then back in in recent weeks at the ridiculous 0.40s to have China do a reverse ferret - after crunching Lithium, they put a rocket up graphite;s arse
to sum up, Syrah have the biggest graphite mine in the world, backing of the US government, Australian Super putting long term bets on, and offtakers from Tesla and others.
