I know that, long after the GCY’s original CEO, Mike Dunbar ‘fell on his sword,’ he continued to hold shares (so presumably retained faith in the project. [he held around 3,5m shares in 2019].
And despite the contractor NRW holdings selling out of its’ ~6% at 58c a few months back I’ve often wondered if the CEO there, Jules Pemberton, has kept (or acquired) a personal holding.
….. And as far as the geologists go I’m thinking the original one - whose work got the whole shebang on the road - mill, airstrip, funding etc, etc - must be feeling pretty vindicated.
And Simon said in making the decision to shut down the open pit work and focus on exploration, he took the advice of the geologists who knew the ground.
It’s all a bit of a mystery really ?
