I have purchased some more oppies today at 12-13 cents, while the heads were at 35 cents. If I were to buy 100K of heads it would cost me about $35K. For 35K I could almost buy 300K oppies for around 35K. As the exercise price of 30 cents has been reached, the oppies and heads usually go up (or down) the same amount at this point.
if the heads go up by 5 cents then I would make $5K whereas a 5 cent increase for the oppies would see me make $15K. The oppies certainly offer more return at present. But of course the risk is if the SP drops below the 30 cent conversion price. Worth a punt in my view as I believe LRV is heading up. I have put 1/3 of my LRV investment in oppies and 2/3 in heads.
i guess time will tell if the the oppies were a good buy.
