You are incorrect. Amorality refers to the concept that whether something is immoral or moral is invalid or not relevant.
Lack of awareness has nothing to do with it. Indeed, amorality as a conceptual framework clearly elucidates that morality and immorality are irrelevant in terms of the circumstances to which amorality is being applied.
