His brand of trolling is to raise obscure hypotheticals and topics that literally no one else has suggested or mentioned, and act as though they are already active and ongoing topics of debate. It's pretty weird but no one takes it (or him) seriously.
Also, and for the record, personally I don't believe he had anything to do with the disappearance of MH370.
