The min trade to buy is $500
The min sell is any amount as stated above. If you buy a parcel of shares and the value of that parcel falls below $500 you have to still be able to sell that amount.
The min number of shares is set by the broker, not the ASX.

You can call 1 share trading manipulation but who does it manipulate. Who doesnt check the volume of trades to see what is happening??? Idiots and the naive???
1 share trades is testing the market, they push it down and see what supply is about, they push it up by one share and see what demand is sitting on the sidelines. Rather then bang on about how unfair it is, why not look at the information it gives you interpret it and trade alongside it.
How ever to come on here and bang on about how its illegal, when it plainly isnt is focusing your energy in the wrong direction.
