Shorting for accumulation only works if the shorter has the funds to continually short until the holders give up. I am starting to see HC poster saying" I'm in only until..... them I'm out" so if this is the case they are doing a good job. On the other hand the SP may not be due to shorting and only due to market value less future risk.
We will only truly know which is the case some time in the future once the truth comes out
