Rio? Geographically Serbia makes sense as a Lithium hub for the rest of Europe - very low to non existent transport costs to all planned and existing European gigafactories/processors.
Margins would probably be very high if it was a low cost operation to access the Lithium.
Certainly much cheaper to do that than digging Lithium up in Australia and shipping it half way around the world to Europe.
Rio could just land bank the asset too - win win for them.
