i'm a long term holder and I'd argue that they paid big premiums on their acquisitions. These "synergies" are very vague and hard to quantify. It all comes down to people having faith that the management can actually deliver their promises after a slew of excuses about the last two years.
With IOOF's track record with the commission and multiple lawsuits I am curious how people can be so confident and trusting with management
