akan28 you may be right. I have been considering investing when the time is right and have only been researching for a day or two.
Anyway would it be correct to assume the only reason the deal didn't go throw was shareholder backlash? Personally i would imagine so. If not please correct me seeing as you are an expert. Otherwise i will have no choice but to continue my current thoughts of the company and the current board. Which to put it nicely is extremely bad.

"It would appear, however, that Lynas has hit a Catch-22. Or maybe a Catch-90 (thorium's atomic number). Malaysia won't let Lynas process REEs unless it sends the radioactive waste back to Australia and Australia will not accept radioactive waste, as a matter of policy, from Australian mineral processing conducted offshore. Both the Federal government and WA government are nevertheless happy to deal with the waste if the processing plant is onshore."

Is this wrong ? Is Australian now willing to take radioactive waste from offshore processing ?

I would imagine not. And if they are willing i would assume the SMSL group will be nothing compared to what you will see here.

Look forward to reading a reply.
