This is about public policy. Laws exist for the reasons given.
You're saying to ignore those reasons because it's inconvenient to you personally, and you aren't money laundering or tax evading.
OK, but that's not the problem of the government. They have to balance a lot of considerations. You're getting very minor inconvenience, for the greater good.
Sorry about that! This is life. Just like wearing seat belts, slowing down while turning corners, etc etc.
