I wrote to my local MP asking to look at using super as an asset to leverage a home loan. They did something similar to what I put forward. I know lots of people super rich but cash poor, if they could use their super as a guarantor against a homeloan so many more people would have access to home ownership and set themselves up for retirement without their super balances continues to grow and hopefully house prices improve.
