Nah not really get any stagnant periods at all can get choppy periods when you give some back to the market. Luckily I am not trading Nasdaq right now - this system does not do well in choppy markets - no system is perfect but XJO has been nice and clean. It's fine tuned for four hours... if I adjust parameters then I either lose out on win rates or profit factor 4 hours has that nice balance. Four clear trades in a month is one epic trade per week at 100% win rate and enormous profit factor. But got to make them count.
