Actually SF it is the sunscreen that poses the real risk, resultant reduction in vit D levels probably result in many more cancer (mostly not skin) deaths than those that would have resulted from skin damage. Regardless the experts in the skin care/sunscreen industries have deluged us in fear of baring an unscreened limb outdoors for 5 minutes.
I have found that experts are often the worst at putting risks in perspective.
It is my opinion that without some serious support to these concerns we are best to simply disregard them - and by that I do not wish to mean any disrespect to your expertise Comline.
BOW management, the certifiers, and BG next door are all probably grappling with much greater risks/challenges than water ingress into a few outcrops - like perhaps water ingress from 100 times the area of any outcrops?
