I haven't posted for a long time, having nothing particularly to say. However, NewB's refreshing opening post reflects my own unease and it would seem that of others - hence the 14 upticks (net of downticks...?).

The on going volume of posts over the various POTENTIAL profit makers for POH are often interesting & informative, especially Hottod & Jevalent, if I might say so. But the general (often quite lyrical)refrain is the same as for years now - jam soon. But tomorrow invariably goes further back.

OK, that's biotechs for you. But in this particular case the knock on from the scandal unfolding during the summer has by now raised an increasing concern. The scandal itself seems to have been extremely well handled - prompt & vigorous action both to minimise financial loss and also to project confidence in the business to the market. In particular, the quickly highlighted determination to appoint a new CEO & reshape the Board came over very well.

Plainly, as noted, these things can take time and indeed reshaping the board is undoubtedly best delayed until a new CEO is in in place and has a major part in that process.
However, now 4 months or more into the process and nothing has emerged. That is a very long period for a small company in a defined marketplace not to be able to make an announcement.

The question must therefore increasingly loom - is POH's not seen by quality potential candidates as a desirable move? Newb's having the temerity to question whether the Emperor actually has got clothes is increasingly pertinent - hence the thumb ups.
