Every biotech investment carries a certain amount of risk. @shareman was actually being a bit conservative. It has been shown that only one in 20 biotech companies succeed. Odds are always slim with any biotech company.

BIT225 is still largely unproven - and no one should be suggesting that it is a "done deal". BP wil touch a product until it has good human trial backing. That is not where BIT is at the moment.

Most of us hope it does become the next big thing but assuming it is already there is not necessarily an accurate view. To be honest, if BIT225 wa as magical as BIT has told shareholders, then the question needs to be posed as to why it has not attracted BP interest. Maybe the data is not complete or maybe the research is not far enough advanced. The other option that should never be ignored though - maybe it is not good enough either.
