The statement that COVID trials have been put on hold until the HIV results are released is a sign that BIT may not currently have the funds to complete both trials without further funds being obtained.

This is a bit unsettling and, looking forward, if the HIV trial results are not significantly better than the prelim results, it does raise the question on whether BT can attract interest from investors - and more importantly, third parties that will support any commercial backing for phase 3 trials.

Next few months may be very pivotal for BIT. Essentially, will there be a future for BIT as a potential revenue driven company or will it continue to be "almost there but not quite" for the next decade.

It does appear as a delaying tactic, you would think that they would do the much easier and quicker Covid results first and stimulate real interest in the market place. (Unless they did and the results sucked).
Something isn’t right here.
