    The effect of BIT225 on macrophage immune activation may prove useful, but so far BIT has no clinical data that any of the effects seen are either helpful for patients or sustained.

    The second question is much easier to answer. BIT225 crosses the blood-brain barrier at the 1% level. While it is a bit abitary, 60% is often used as the threshold for a drug that to be considered to cross the BB barrier.
