Summary as i to the best of my notes .
It is the same drugs being used for both the Royal Brisbane women’s hospital and the university of Queensland it is a collaborative effort including Doherty institute amongst others .
Successful in test tubes and guinea pigs drugs can inhibit virus .
End of March active treatment no placebo patient either given hiv drug or malaria drug . Stated that they have already had time to develop protocols .
Hoping to eventually coordinated in up to 30 -40 hospitals Australia wide .
