I'm a long term investor and hope BIT finds success.

Lately, Hotcopper posters often seem to point to BIT's patents and previous invitro results as to why the company is a sure thing. Long term investors should be very cautious with this line of logic.

Pretty much every drug under development in history that ultimately went on to fail during clinical trials also worked in a test tube and was heavily protected by patents. Even if there is a positive Sars-Cov-2 result in a test tube, this is absolutely miles away from a commercialised drug.

Traders are looking to exit if there is a positive Sars-Cov-2 result and a price bump happens. People often reflexively buy after such an announcement and traders hope they are the suckers willing to buy their shares to help them exit.

I have absolutely no problem with traders but long term investors should be aware of this.
