Heard through the grapevine and just did my own google research of Biotron and this came up from 2 weeks ago??? Looks like Biotron are seeking a Chief Medical Officer.Not sure if this Is a positive or a negative??? Guessing they are looking at moving forward? Any opinions here from the expert scientists on hotcopper?

The primary role is to provide leadership and direction for Biotron’s clinical development programs in the antiviral field. The CMO will be responsible for the strategy, direction and execution of the company’s clinical development plans. The CMO will be a key member of the company’s executive team. This is a unique opportunity to be a major contributor to the success of a well-positioned, well-financed growth stage biotechnology company. The role will involve the followingevelopment and execution of medical development strategy for Biotron’s clinical assets.Provision of medical expertise to support the development of Biotron’s preclinical assets.Management of clinical aspects of regulatory strategies and interactions with relevant regulatory authorities.Oversee the analysis and interpretation of clinical trial data and reporting of clinical trial results.Providing subject matter expertise on developments in the antiviral therapeutic area including competitor activity.Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with external experts in the antiviral field and represent Biotron in relevant scientific forums and meetings.Work with the Managing Director to achieve a successful commercial outcome for the Company through the sale or licensing of its antiviral programs to international pharmaceutical company(s).Oversee medical governance, risk management, regulatory and pharmacovigilance activities relating to the Company’s clinical programs.
