Yes that is correct, when I went to book my second dose they were booked out.
Its not a major problem, 2 weeks is nothing for this vax.
I am not sure about the research side, I have not heard or read about that.
I was actually late in taking up the vax only because work was booked out (and so were the other hospitals) so I would have had them both well and truly by now.

But yes, in hindsight, I should have waited for the BIT drug, and avoided the Blood Clot side effect.
