Quite the contrary.

On one hand, there is a lot of room on the planet for versatile and safe anti-virals.

On the other hand, the hazards associated with the Pfizer drug, (which needs another risky drug to work), highlight the safety data generated through the last decade of BIT human trials. (Lets not even look at the other major competitor, (Shudder!)).

Stopping a virus is bloody hard! Mainly because of the risk of disrupting an important process within the human cells and/or other bodily systems.

All that whinging about taking too long, in combination with their past reluctance to admit to just how good the results were, always hedging and hiding the good stuff in scientific jargon, is a big green light for me.

I also like to talk about the data with those who share my interest.
