surely your conclusion is right; yes, any FDA sponsored trial will conclude before our new HIV trials. I’d say, considerably beforehand. But they do have to begin yet, which I’m guessing will be in January. FDA is not going to sit on its haunches with this, and I suggest this without hesitation, all bias aside.

The outside US trial will be soon too, and independent from the FDA. That is why it’s occurring outside their jurisdiction. But it’s outcome very well may have consequences for future FDA decisions, whether that be on the US trial design, or their final findings.
