    It is interesting but I have seen it happen both ways where there is a leak it spikes and quite often with a well run company the announcement surprises everyone and the volume really spikes.

    Boredom or exhaustion i guess with low volume side of things and fomo with the high volume.

    Psychology plays a big part in trading.
