An interesting announcement. What is this thing worth?
Estimates are a potential resource of 25-150 million ton at 6-9% Even at an average 7% and using $1000 gross P/ton the gross value is approx 1.7 Billion dollars-10.5 billion dollars.
How would it be valued. I know the mine life would be extensive even at production rates above 20mtpa. Could be a great cash flow source. What would they get if they sold it outright. The plant cost about $14m to build years ago and then there is the value of the resource.
Will be very interesting to follow these events.
