U.S. renewables giant SunEdison has signed an agreement with Ontario's Independent Electricity System Operator to supply 5 megawatts/20 megawatt-hours of battery storage.
This is SunEdison's first large scale grid-connected storage project. Inevitably, the first of many.
The battery? Vanadium redox flow battery by Imergy.
