Whilst we may actually have 10 to 21 billions barrels Oil In Place - our "under promise, over deliver" management team have stuck with the figures from BEFORE the additional acreage and remain focused on proving up the flow rate. After it flows, the multiplier effect of re-estimating our oil in place against a known flow rate will be a double-whammy kicker to our valuation.

There are two numbers - DeGolyer & McNaughton (the independent estimate) - based on statistical averages of oil recovery at the exploration phase from worldwide - who estimated around 1B barrels. And then there's our internal estimate - of 2.1B barrels - which is from our resident expert petro-geologist using proprietary models developed for THIS specific play. I lean heavily in favour of believing our expert's numbers - but even if D&M are proven correct, it's still a hell of a lot of oil to play for!

Anyway, happy to be corrected, but pretty sure the numbers in that article should be 1.0 and 2.1 respectively - not 10 and 21.
