What Matt is inferring is the investing environment has changed for tech business.

Previously investors have been willing to accept losses in return for a tech business to establish themselves and expand at a faster rate then what they could have if the business had been just reliant on internal generated means.

In the current environment investors want to see that the business is profitable first.

Hence, this is why Matt is driving the current strategy of a leaner more efficient and profitable Betmakers by end of or before FY24.
