pure luck as to which incumbent has a judge resign in as to who gets to replace them .....as well as the morality of the people concerned
this is simply a poor system .....you don't want judge chosen for their bias (either way ) , what you want is the BEST judges and as much as is possiuble free of political bias
our system here where the judiciary is completely free of both political influence and interference may have it's faults ....but loads better and safer than the tin tanks system
