Clearly in your comment after I sing the praises of the Judeo-Christian approach and as having led to the greatest advance in law, order and civilised society you then bring up the Greek, Roman, English etc etc systems.
Clearly, you're intimating they also contributed which they, of course they did...but I said the world's greatest advances WERE predicated on the 10C primarily which predates them all by millennia
As for the electoral system, you're confusing the purpose with the method. Take issue with the method - as you should - but the purpose is pure.
