Anything is possible with Labor and the unions having a bit of power. There is people calling for all sorts of different leave.
I worked for a small business when parental leave was just coming into vogue and one of the guys that worked with us told the owner he was going to take parental leave when his wife had their first child .
The owner quite seriously responded by saying he would shut the business down before allowing anyone to take parental leave .
The idiots pushing for all kinds of leave have absolutely no idea how disruptive it can be to businesses. I saw thirty years ago how the unions eventually put many people I worked with out of a job by demanding more and more. Eventually management just culled the workforce and employed contractors.
