I like this company and i will get in but i think i will wait post consolidation. In 30 years of following the market i find it hard to remember a stock that i have followed that has risen post consolidation - most fall. To my thinking there are only 2 reasons directors do it. One to artificially lift the share price (lets face it - it makes no difference to the value of the compamy) so that the stock enters the radars of those investors including fund managers that won't look at stocks below $1 and secondly to reduce the shares on issue and increase the share price as a precursor to a capital raising in the future. Still think it is a good company but unless there are some great announcements between now and the consolidation i reckon better buy in opportunity at a later date
