IMHO there is nothing to see here and will not be for some time. The only thing of interest is the one commitment that they have made to do something:-

Actually commitment is too strong a word. They said they plan to do it which is softer.

In my view they will likely fail at this also (We changed our plan...). When that happens the conclusion they will draw is that they should not have ever mentioned a time frame in the first place or stated clearly it was an aspirational goal or a rough timeframe.

The conclusion I will draw is that this will be another repeat of the mind numbing incompetence and laziness of the past few years. And a continuation of the arrogant disrespect that they show to their share holders. God they must laugh at us over drink after work....
