Every election is different - just because there was no uniform swing in one it does not mean that that will be the case in another. It is quite likely that there will be a uniform swing though in the big one coming up. Likely because of one factor - Abbott. Once the electioneering gets underway proper and the debates and the questions about policies hit the front the recent election winning improvement by Labor in the polls (51%+) will put the cream on top. The Liberal intention (I will post info if this is disputed) to raise the GST and their obvious intention to reintroduce Workchoices will put the cream on the top of what should be a luscious desert.
