perhaps you can show me the thread that cited the 10 most shorted stocks in 'beaming colour'.... I must have missed it.
FYI, I do agree that many (all ?) of those other companies have income... Lynas suddenly getting income does not remove itself from this group... it actually makes one more element the same as them.
Anyway, I think it's all about risk and profit of shorting.
As long as lynas is an easy target, and there is profit to short... it will continue to be high on the hit list for doing so. also
as long as the downside risk is deemed a high enough concern, many stock holders will short as insurance rather than simply selling the stock... only reduced risk will reduce this temptation also.
