No one wants to short or sell off on this type of news. It is a game changer, there are two pieces of news today, one is eBay the other is Z1P business.
I believe most ppl talked about is the eBay but I'm more interested in Z1P statement below:
It's about what's next for Z1P. A few posters incl myself have alluded to the fact that there are other growth plans not just geographically. Penetration into other onlien market place or digital wallet is the key for next phase of growth - e.g. Apply Pay, Google Pay, Amazon, Alibaba...etc. The market is huge, and eBay partnership tells me the mgt team is on the right track.
As I said, for a mc of 5B is not out of question given APT market cap. Hence $15 is not really out of questions once they have a few things line up nicely, plus the quarterly rebalance that's happening in early Sep as another price catalyst.
Of all BNPL stock, Z1P is most undervalued but immense growth, hence rerating is underway to get the sp and mc in line with what the bigger brother is doing.
