Exactly what ZIP management did to make sure the market will be re-rating Zip and sp should reflect reasonable valuation.
As Mr Diamond and Peter Gray, Zip's other co-founder, explained on the call, the board thought Zip's share price was undervalued when it considered funding options for the deal - so was cautious about raising capital at a discount via an institutional placement.Instead, it used a structure involving convertible notes and warrants where funding could be raised at a premium.
