IMO In the past, there have been new tech or stuff in the market that completely washes away the old . BNPL is going to replace credit cards altogether at least at B2C level. People who have been around long enough would understand
MELWAYS / SYDWAYS gone, replaced by Navman / TOM TOM
NAVMAN / TOM TOM gone, replaced by Google / Apple Map apps
Portable drives gone, replaced by cloud storage.
Sony CyberShot gone, replaced by smartphones.
BNPL itself is an unknown territory, If I had the money I would buy each and every BNPL out there. They all will get business, some more some less. Some will service eCommerce , some will service retails, some for the young some for the old, some with larger limits, and some with smaller.
Smaller BNPL will be bought by the big ones , big ones will be funded by the bigger corporates.
BNPL is here to stay.
