Maybe rethink the way you value the stock. Market indexes may not correlate with SP increases as strong as an increase in future growth potential. Index daily growth may not be a complete measure of the stock's potential.
As I would say, forget the stock and come back and check in 6 or 12 months' time, or in the words of the great Warren Buffet "it is better to buy a great stock at a fair price than a fair stock at a great price".
Is it a great stock is the question you need to ask yourself and is the price fair?
