No not strange. Methane is natural gas.
Methane associated with coal is called "coal bed methane'
Methane assocated with your ar*e is called "fart gas".
The gas found in oil is called "petroleum gas" or "associated gas" or "dissolved gas"
However to get Methane and oil into the same well bore...........any petroleum or reservoir engineers there???
