    Dirtbags,

I'm not quite sure what the value is of them saying the same thing once a week instead of once every month or so, which is what we get now. If there was news that they weren't releasing, then yes, jump up and down. But there isn't. If there is no news, what do you want them to say? from my memory, they predicted nothing significant would happen re coal until 2nd half of 2013. Earlier news would relate to marketing and that has been announced as promised re Link, with more to come on that soon I imagine.

And no, I don't agree that 'we' need a seat at the board table. Being interested in a stock is no basis for being part of a board. A qualification of 'I am a shareholder who doesn't like the lack of progress', doesn't seem to have a lot to offer a biotech company, regardless of whether its you, me or some other hopeful with no experience in biotech. Do you seriously think that having one of 'us' on the board is suddenly going to 'make' things happen? Do you think the current board is sitting there holding things back just to be pesty? Will this new guy suddenly be allowed to break confidentiality agreements to tell HC what is going on in confidential discussions - gee that will help progress heaps! Will they be better placed to get big pharma on board? Will they use their vast experience to get deals going where Coates and Cox couldn't? The only thing that is guaranteed to happen if a 'protest' board member gets elected is that the board will be divided because it will have an unwelcome and unqualified member of the board trying to explain to qualified scientists and biotech specialists how they should be running the show. That's the last thing we need.

This board had the full backing of everyone when they came in to replace Drona et al because they were clearly qualified and passionate about ATC and they pledged to do exaclt what shareholders were asking re going to the FDA to find out how to gety ATC to market. They have made great strides re FDA and marketing agreements, but the bottom line is they have little money and a market that is not jumping to invest so they can't fund the trials out of thin air. Most boards would have folded up shop by now. These guys are doing exactly what people asked of them so no, I don't imagine getting a grouchy shareholder with no biotech expertise on the board is going to be a great step forward.

That all said.... I'm not pleased with a SP of 1.6 and am worried that noone has stepped up to fund ATC if its really as good as they say.
