their forecast is amusing given glencore have reportedly just agreed the 12 month Japanese reference price at us$395/tn for sept 22-oct 23 (just in the last 24 hours).
as I understand, historically about 40% of nhc sales are based off this reference price.
This may have changed due to the current market dislocation. I seem to recall from the recent earnings report nhc said the reference price was not yet determined and hence volume was being individually negotiated and based more on current spot prices.
in any case, this is extremely bullish for medium term pricing and makes a mockery of analyst estimates which appear rooted in historical analysis rather than a fundamental analysis of the current supply / demand dynamic
