This government intervention is really starting to annoy me. They haven't disclosed any information other than "a price cap" whatever that means, and however that works. The market hates the unknown, and we are clearly being punished with all this ambiguity. Coal price is just off its all time highs, yet we're still down 30% because no one knows whats going on.
Where's the price caps on the banks? Are mortgage holders not under stress due to repayments? where's the price caps on milk & bread, and petrol? and everything else?
