Lots of news articles the last 24 hours talking about the coal price cap and reimbursement from tax payer dollars....What was everyone expecting? Amongst the WHC and NHC threads we were talking about this sort of thing over a month ago. Domestic coal prices were already much much lower than the NEWC spot price, and contracts had been locked in for years. The government spin on this is amazing.
