True, but stayer, while cherrypicking a small number of examples won't give the bigger picture, New York on Wednesday 4 January 2023 has a warm temperature range of 11 to 18 but by next Tuesday is predicted to be down to minus 1 overnight to seven, so that trend if it continues should help to increase demand for natural gas.
Philadelphia on Wednesday is an amazing 12 to 18 degrees in minimum and maximum temperatures but by Sunday will be back down to minus one to seven as its range.
Munich, Germany on Wednesday's range is unseasonally warm at nine to ten degrees (little variation) but by Saturday it's back to two to nine degrees as the range.
Innsbruck, Austria where I was a few weeks ago is a warm two to seven degrees on Wednesday but by Monday next week is back to a low of minus one to a high of just four degrees Celsius.
So while this is an incomplete picture, and we're a long way from these nations, the cold weather doesn't seem to be over yet, not by a long shot.
