industry minister husic described the energy sector as 'greedy energy co's'.And lets include their extreme anti fossil fuel hatred ideology but there happy to collect and waste the co taxes.
This is the mentality u/we r dealing with.
The govt received a windfall from coal/IO exports FY22 by memory $100b in co tax plus lng export revenue co tax and husic calls these golden geese 'greedy energy co's'.
We only have 3 golden geese,or as husic describes them 'greedy energy co's'.
Agree these fools wont target domestic allocated gas/coal pricing with increased tax {probably price caps} but export coal/gas revenue regarding a super tax is still on the table imo unless u trust chalmers..
When the pathetic woke media asks any dh politician how to reduce gas prices ,the dh politician should reply like michaelia cash did and say 'increase gas supply' thats it nothing else no waffle like chalmers,husic,bowen and albo even dutton just increase gas supply.Start with narrabri.
NA3 will increase coal supply i believe starting in 12 months,santos narraibri could do the same in NSW if the labor govt wanted to increase gas supply but they don't because they hate fossil fuel,nuclear and dams.
So as for coal supply should not b the issue but imo only this leaves open the door for these fools to target coal/gas export revenue with a super tax,resource revenue rent tax.levy however chalmers describes it.
ps bottom line i could re enter nhc today,next week ,december what ever but i have to b aware of the extreme actions this govt is capable of and the material effect it could have on both coal and gas co's imo only.
