Is an October auction still possible?

From their announcement on the 28/6 they had 120,000 cts, 3 weeks later on the 20/7 they had 132,000 cts. That's only an increase of 4,000 cts per week. If they need 200,000 cts to make the auction worthwhile then they need to find 7,000 cts per week for the next 10 weeks. It this possible/probable?

I think everyone is surprised that they've raised $8.5 million. It's far more than anyone thought they needed. Is the size the raising to cover themselves in case they have to postpone an October auction. They haven't as yet announced a date or venue for the auction.
