In medicine we have the concept of informed consent as a cornerstone of patient management.

The same must also apply to your behavior in the sharemarket - inform yourself, assess the risk and then make your choices.

It might be possible for someone who gets most of their information from these forums alone to be poorly informed. The tone of the lead post on this thread seemed to be from such a person. Seemed.
