no need to be sorry because you missed the point, I wasn't debating what the general consensus classes as a 'ramper', but gave you an example of why a 'down-ramper' doesn't necessarily have to mean the exact opposite just because you say so, anyway no point getting into semantics, but rest assured words tend to be re-shaped over time in the context with which people use them, language adapts, bit like arguing what a football is with Brit.

I'm also obviously well aware of the agendas 'rampers' and 'down-rampers' push so no surprises there, I do however note that more often than not unsubstantiated 'down-ramping' is tolerated more than unsubstantiated 'ramping' which seems to fit the the HC agenda of letting the occasional antagonist stir the pot to get the post-count/thread-visits up, posters aren't the only one fulfilling agenda's on HC, must keep the eye on the big picture.
